On Saturday 17th March, 125 young people from across the South West joined together for their first massed rehearsal led by Teachers Rock® founder Debbie Kent. In just 45 minutes these talented young singers from; Berrynarbour, Brayford, Chulmleigh Academy, Cotford St Luke, East the Water, Furzeham, Kingsacre, Monkleigh, Montgomery, Pilton CC, Shaldon, Stawley, Sticklepath, Stoke Climsland and Woolsery were performing Reef's 'Place Your Hands' and Coldplay's 'Fix You' alongside 60 Teachers Rock® singers from satellite choirs across the South West. At 10:45am the Teachers Rock® Youth Choir then live streamed their first ever public performance to 250 teachers in Manchester as part of their #primaryrocks networking event. What a transformational learning experience for our new youth choir.
