Teachers Rock® Youth Choirs
Our Teachers Rock® Youth Choir programme for the 2026/27 academic year, offers young people a wholly inclusive vocal development opportunity catering for all abilities. This choir offers regular, weekly sessions for singers in the area offering a pathway for young people to develop their singing style and vocal technique.

Academy Choir 2026/27
The Teachers Rock® Academy Choir is an intergenerational
ensemble bringing together teachers and their students.
Founded in 2012 by vocal specialist Debbie Kent, the choir is
part of the wider Teachers Rock® platform—a vocal learning
initiative designed to inspire educators and young people
through contemporary styles of music.

Earned a Distinction in the RSL Level 3 Certificate in Group Performance after performing at Abbey Road Studios, one of the world's most iconic recording venues

Featured in a BBC Spotlight broadcast and participated in high-profile events such as Exeter Cathedral’s Christmas mini-residency, drawing audiences of over 1,000 people
